Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, and is currently not under review at another journal.
  • Make sure that the submission consists of three parts:
    a) title page including name(s) of author(s), and address, affiliation, and email of the corrsponding or first author
    b) abstract
    c) manuscript with title page without author details
  • - Provide a running head

    - List keywords indexing the contents of the paper
  • I am aware of and agree with the publication of my article being licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Author Guidelines

Manuscript style

The journal language is English. Manuscripts should be according to the most recent publication manual of the American Psychological Association (APA). Tables and figures must each be on separate pages after the reference list.

research articles

The focus of this Research Articles section is on research-papers, reviews, theoretical papers, not published elsewhere

regional reports

The focus of this Regional Reports section is on papers (empirical or theoretical) that have a strong cultural emphasis

Copyright Notice

Submission of an original manuscript to the IJPP will be taken to mean that it represents original work not previously published, that it is not being considered elsewhere for publication and, if accepted for publication, it will be published online. Copyright remains with the author. 

The journal takes the stance that the publication of scholarly research is meant to disseminate knowledge and, in a non-profit regime, benefits neither publisher nor author financially. It sees itself as having an obligation to its authors and to society to make content available online now that the technology allows for such a possibility.
