Open Access Policy and Copyright

Open Access Policy
IJPP provides immediate open access to all content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. Articles in this journal are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Copyright
Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-SA 4.0) that allows others to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship. If others remix, adapt, or build upon the material, they must license the modified material under identical terms.

Submission of an original manuscript to IJPP means that it represents original work that has not been previously published, is currently not under review at another journal and, if accepted for publication, will be published online.

The journal takes the stance that the publication of scholarly research is meant to disseminate knowledge and, in a non-profit regime, benefits neither publisher nor author financially. It sees itself as having an obligation to its authors and to society to make content available online now that the technology allows for such a possibility.
